Oie-school Incense ceremony will be held at the Japan Cultural Institute in Paris, France.

On June 23 (Fri.) and 24 (Sat.), 2023, the Japanese Cultural Institute in Paris, France, will host the Incense ceremony.

Kodo is a unique art of fragrance that is deeply connected and systematized with Japanese people's sensitivity to the four seasons and literature and poetry.

The graceful quietness of the art is the result of a history spanning more than 1,000 years and a highly developed sensitivity.

Among the five human senses, the sense of smell plays a leading role in Kodo, which is a product of the delicate sensibility unique to the Japanese.
