Nippon Kodo held a Koh ceremony in Chicago.

On April 10, 2008 Nippon Kodo, with the support of the Japan America Society of Chicago & Genie Co., Inc., held a Koh ceremony at the Chicago Consulate General’s Japanese Information Center. The master teacher that demonstrated this ceremony was Gyosetsu Maruyama who flew in from Japan for this event. Even though the weather condition was not the best, over 100 people filled the center, exceeding the capacity.
After the Koh ceremony was demonstrated on stage, there were also incense burners being passed around for people to experience and listen to the incense.
