In coordination with Miyagi Prefecture, one of disaster-stricken areas, Nippon Kodo donated total 2,000 pcs of Seiun Violet (Our top brand in religious incense) and Mainichi Candles to Miyagi Prefecture.

We have also taken the step of extending operating hours for facilities producing candles, which are in short supply as a result of planned electric blackouts.

We would like to express our deepest condolences for the victims of the Tohoku Pacific Earthquake and convey our sincerest sympathies for the many people who have been affected by the disaster.
